Crews made considerable progress this week on the Prosser Airport project. Lots of electrical details were sorted out, including setting all the base cans for the runway lights and pouring the foundations for the taxiway signs and PAPIs.
Taxiway A had a significant amount of wide (48″) crack repair that runs laterally across a dozen or so locations. The new asphalt that was laid wasn’t perfectly flat, so we’ve been working with the contractor to remedy it. We think we have a path forward and don’t expect it to significantly delay the project.
