Waterfront & Neighborhood Planning

Port of Benton is beginning to plan for the future of its waterfront property.

The Port-owned property spans 250 acres along the Columbia River in north Richland.

The Port team intends to work with a real estate development consultant to gather input from community stakeholders, conduct research, identify trends and determine land use options before creating concepts for future development.

Projected Schedule

These pre-development exploration efforts are anticipated to begin this summer. The consultant’s findings and recommendations will help the Port determine future efforts and timelines.

Project Funding

Port of Benton is funding the initial study project.
