2501 Stevens Drive Project
Project Overview
The 2501 Stevens Drive Project is a key phase of the Port of Benton’s broader effort to modernize its industrial property in North Richland. The project includes the construction of a new, approximately 12,000-square-foot facility featuring modern office space and six approximately 1,000-square-foot flex bays, with the ability to add four additional bays in the future. The facility will accommodate the relocation of Barnhart Crane’s existing office operations, supporting the company’s continued growth and enabling the future removal of aging office space at 2579 Stevens Drive as part of efforts to meet Washington’s clean building requirements.
Supported by an approximately $5.4 million funding package from the Community Economic Revitalization Board, Benton County Rural County Capital Funds, and the Port of Benton, the project will improve operational efficiency, support tenant retention, and create space for future industrial users. Architects West is advancing the design toward permit-ready status, targeted for early 2027, with construction and tenant relocation planned for mid-2028. As a cornerstone of future intermodal expansion, the project increases the site’s industrial development capacity and positions the property for long-term economic growth, private investment, and job creation.
