Richland, Wash. – Jeff Lubeck, CPA, joined the Port of Benton last week as Director of Finance.  

Lubeck’s responsibilities include overall administration of the port’s financial operations, office administration, management of employee payroll, benefits, hiring and training activities.  His other duties include developing and administering the annual budget, monitoring and reporting financial performance, and overseeing the financial activities of grants and capital projects.

He brings substantial corporate finance experience with businesses ranging in size from venture capital-backed start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. These include technology companies providing goods and services to commercial customers, the federal government and international markets.

“Jeff’s vast experience will benefit our team and build on the effectiveness of our financial systems,” said Diahann Howard, PPM®, port executive director. “We’re thrilled to have him as a member of the port team.”

A native of the Tri-Cities and a Central Washington University graduate, Lubeck has accounting and finance degrees and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
