Prosser Airport Pavement Maintenance Update

September 5, 2024

RICHLAND, Wash. – The port has just received notice that the Port-funded pavement maintenance project at the Prosser airport will start September 23, 2024.

Crack repair work around all areas of the airport will take place for approximately one week.

This work is a stopgap measure until FAA funding is available to perform a full-scale pavement rehab project (hopefully in 2025).

Runway 8-26 is scheduled to be shut down September 23-24, 2024 to perform the necessary maintenance.

Thank you for your patience while we complete this much-needed pavement work.

Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
