Joe Walker Earns Prominent AAAE Certified Members (C.M.) Designation

Joe Walker causal photoRichland, WA – 10/05/2020 Joe Walker, newly promoted Director of Airports, Port of Benton, earned the Certified Member (C.M.) credential from the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). The designation is the second highest level of achievement available from the AAAE and demonstrates his commitment to the aviation industry. He joins a growing group of aviation professionals dedicated to higher standards of practice in air transportation. Walker is one of approximately 2,300 aviation professionals worldwide to hold an active C.M. 

The C.M. designation attests to Walker’s proficiency and knowledge of airport operations and management. Based on airport standards of practice the C.M. differentiates aviation professionals by the skills and expertise acquired through the certification process. 

The AAAE is the largest professional organization for airport employees. Committed to advancing aviation through individuals fully committed to the industry, the AAAE strengthens airports’ ability to serve their passengers, customers and communities.
