May 22, 2026

Crews have remained ahead of schedule and are expected to complete the majority of the electrical work today. The runway and taxiway have received a fresh slurry seal along with the first coat of paint.

At this time, the runway closure NOTAM is anticipated to be lifted as planned on Friday, May 22, at 5 p.m., or possibly earlier if the slurry has fully cured and the FOD sweep is completed.

Please note that crews will be back next week doing work on portions of the apron. Taxilane work will take place concurrently. Crews will return in approximately 30 days to paint the 2nd and 3rd coat of runway markings, which will require additional runway closures. Please watch for NOTAMs.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to complete the project.
