Repair work is set to begin at 7 a.m. Wednesday, October 11 on Port of Benton Blvd.

The east (northbound) lane of Port of Benton Blvd. from University Way to Hills Street will be closed while the work takes place.

Plans are in place to remove and repair the damaged asphalt, as well as explore possible causes of the issue.

It is expected that the work will be completed on Wednesday, October 18, considering there are no significant weather delays.

Ben Franklin Transit has indicated that the stop located at Port of Benton Blvd. and 6th Street will remain in service throughout the project. If that should change, follow-up communication will be provided.
