Port Of Benton Launches New Website Targeted At Promoting Real Estate and Economic Development In Tri-Cities

Screenshot of Port WebsiteRichland, WA – October 7, 2020 The Port of Benton has launched a new website – www.portofbenton.com – the new website focuses on an easier to use interface to see relevant information for site selectors and developers. The new real estate module promotes relevant properties for sale or lease and provides targeted fast facts to orient potential companies and their site selectors to the most relevant information in helping them choose the right site for their business. A preview of Tri-Cities facts and figures also appears on the site’s Economic Development page, which will be expanded to take advantage of industry specific ‘Capability Report Cards,’ to aid recruits in lifting the veil on collaboration, facilities, and opportunities to support industries.

The website was designed by Underground Creative (www.findusunderground.com), a startup full service design and marketing firm. Principals Ryann Engel, Derek Munson, and Jerrod Lindblom opened the business in 2020; each principal brings a diverse design, marketing, and multimedia background that exudes industry expertise essential to the development of the Port’s website.

“Underground provided the Port with expertise of a company with decades of experience at an affordable value,” said Miles Thomas, AICP Director of Economic Development and Governmental Affairs, “Their most impressive quality was in revealing the root of what we wanted to accomplish and providing solutions that went above and beyond the original scope.”

The Port of Benton’s new website can be found at www.portofbenton.com, and includes many new features focused on ease of working with the Port. Contractors and professionals can now respond electronically to all request for proposals/bids online and are able to receive reminders as they advance through the process.
