Richland Airport Electrical Replacement Project Weekly Update Week of September 6, 2022
On Tuesday, September 6, the electrical contractor moved into the intersection of the runways. Over the next two weeks, Runway 1-19 will be shortened to 2,065 feet with a displaced threshold south of the runway’s intersection. Runway 8-26 will be completely closed. The runways will be open over the weekend of September 10-11.

Port of Benton is hosting a community block party and triple ribbon-cutting event to welcome two tasting rooms and a boutique with a bakery that opened during the COVID-19 pandemic at Vintners Village. The celebration will be Thursday, September 15, from 3 to 5 p.m. at 236 Port Avenue in Prosser.
