Port of Benton plans to begin construction on the Cemetery Access/Swift Blvd. railroad crossing on Thursday, September 29, at noon. The crossing will re-open for traffic on Monday, October 3, at 6 a.m.

Richland Airport Electrical Replacement Project Ahead of Schedule
Electrical replacement work on Richland Airport Runway 8-26 has been completed and the runway has been re-opened for aircraft. Construction has moved to Runway 1-19, which will remain closed for the duration of the project. The project is expected to be completed by mid-November.

Port of Benton hosted a triple ribbon-cutting and community celebration to welcome Cork and Taps, Sister to Sister on the Ave. and Wautoma Springs winery to Vintners Village. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests were invited to visit the new and established Vintners Village businesses, enjoy pizza from an onsite food truck, live music and complimentary face painting.
