Commerce Awards $2M in Grants |

The Washington Department of Commerce today announced $2 million in grants to accelerate manufacturing job growth and economic opportunity across the state with a particular focus on rural communities. Six businesses and four innovation cluster organizations were awarded $200k each through the Evergreen Manufacturing Grant program.

The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) has one remaining high priority power outage to perform for the Prosser area, serviced by Benton PUD, to allow personnel to safely perform preventative maintenance required to maintain the safety and reliability of the BPA electric system connecting the Prosser area to the regional power grid. |
