RiverFest 2022 will take place this Saturday, October 8 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Kennewick's Columbia Park.
Celebrate our rivers, learn why hydropower is important, educational exhibits, hands-on learning experiences, music and entertainment, retail, food and vendors. Fun, free and for the whole family! |

Construction Completed on the Swift Blvd./Cemetery Access Railroad Crossing |
|
Crews completed reconstruction of the Swift Blvd./Cemetery access railroad crossing and reopened the roadway early Monday morning.
The work began at noon on Thursday, September 29, and crews worked continuously until the construction was finished. The project encompassed replacing the entire rail crossing, adding concrete panels, new rail ties and repaving.
Crews finished the Van Giesen/State Route 224 rail crossing replacement project in August, and the port plans to replace the State Route 240 crossing in 2023.
