Princess Theatre Welcomes Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis
Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra comprises 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today. It has been the Jazz at Lincoln Center resident orchestra since 1988. Currently, the orchestra tours the world for a third of the year. Under Music Director Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra performs a vast repertoire, from rare historic compositions to Jazz at Lincoln Center-commissioned works.

Students and community members seeking employment or internships will have the opportunity to meet with area employers at the Washington State University Tri-Cities career and internship fair on Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held on the WSU Tri-Cities campus in the Consolidated Information Center and the Student Union Building. Irwin Nash Collection in the WSU Tri-Cities Art Center Through Oct. 20
The WSU Tri-Cities Art Center is featuring “Rooted: Irwin Nash Photographs of Yakima Valley Farmworkers”. The Irwin Nash collection documents farmworker labor, life, and activism in Washington’s Yakima Valley between 1967-1976. It captures poignant scenes of daily life and family joy as well as participation in local and national labor movements. The collection will be shown in two parts. Part one is open through Sept. 5 and part two runs from Sept. 12 – Oct. 20. A community gallery reception with special guest, Enrique Cerna, WSU Regent, will be held on Sept. 5, from 5-7 p.m. in the Art Center located in the Consolidated Information Center on the WSU Tri-Cities Campus, 2770 Crimson Way, Richland.

WSU Tri-Cities is pleased to introduce Cougar Tracks, a collection of online and on-demand courses that we’ve developed in collaboration with leading business faculty and industry professionals. These courses are designed to help individuals take their careers to the next level and enable businesses to build a stronger, more competitive workforce.

WSU Tri-Cities, together with Port of Benton, has an exciting development in workforce development and education that’s going to make a big impact on our region, empowering businesses and individuals alike to unlock their full potential.

Full scholarships are available for eligible applicants for all Cougar Tracks courses, meaning employers and individuals alike can take advantage of this incredible training program at no cost. However, funds are limited so act now.
