Port of Benton is responsible for snow removal on Port-owned runways, roads and parking lots. The Port is unable to provide snow removal to individual businesses.
It is inevitable that driveways will be blocked during plowing operations. Every effort will be made to minimize the impact from the plows.
Snow removal is a priority for Richland and Prosser Airports, Port buildings and sites.

Director of Governmental Affairs Cassie Hammond testified last week in Olympia on Senate Bill 6302.
Senate Bill 6302 is a vital opportunity to bolster our economic growth for statewide rail projects and particularly for the Port of Benton. SB 6302 would create a supply chain infrastructure competitive grant program that would propel the Port of Benton’s 16-mile inland port project forward, create careers, and foster economic expansion. By addressing both construction and maintenance needs, this piece of legislation would support the prosperity for our trade-reliant state and jump start our Inland Port Project. We’re hopeful to see the bill on the Governor’s desk for his support.
