The Port of Benton works closely with the City of Richland to jointly development the Horn Rapids area. The Port is also the administrator of the Tri-Cities Research District, a state of Washington Innovation Partnership Zone. This research park encompasses the majority of the Port’s land and building holdings located in Richland.
