Port Offering Free Public Bus Tour |

RICHLAND, Wash. – Port of Benton is hosting a free bus tour of the port’s district for the community on Wednesday, September 30, beginning at 8 a.m.
The bus will depart from the port’s main office at 3250 Port of Benton Blvd. in Richland. Light snacks and water will be provided.
The tour will showcase the port’s industrial facilities and rail network, including updates on port-wide capital projects.
Additionally, attendees will see the port’s Richland Airport and Prosser Airport, and locations in Prosser, such as Vintners Village, Prosser Wine & Food Park, Clore Center and a stop at Chukar Cherries.
The tour will conclude back at the port office, with the option to tour the USS Triton.
Space is limited, and registration is required. Register by September 23 at portofbenton.com/tour.

Richland Airport Apron Improvement Project Update - August 28, 2026 |

This week, the contractor made great progress milling and removing the areas of thin asphalt, as well as the tie-down anchors that will be relocated. Excavation has taken place and compaction testing has begun in those areas. Next week, the contractor will begin laying and compacting the sub-base and base rock. The project is on schedule.
